Creating the Secret Garden series during lockdown was a way to escape from uncertainty and find comfort by focusing on the present. A serene but introspective atmosphere highlighting inner and outer space in a dreamy environment with oversaturated unnatural colours. Inspired by my living space in Dubai, UAE.

My travels have inspired me greatly. Brighton (UK) was one of my favorite places to live. I loved this vibrant city with its arty and bohemian atmosphere and its open-minded population. I spent hours mooching around Brighton’s quirky Lanes and enjoyed long meandering walks on the seafront.

Women are so important in my life. They have mostly been my role models from childhood: my mother, teachers, artists and friends. I am all of them because they all live in me.
